PROFINET Adapters from GENEREX – now available for CS141 & BACS

GENEREX is launching its own PROFINET Adapter – compatible with all current CS141 and BACS WEBMANAGERS. The external DIN rail device converts the MODBUS data output via the COM2 port of the CS141 or BACS devices into the PROFINET fieldbus format, making it usable for industrial networks.

One device – three variants for every application

1. Product number: SNMP_PROF

✔ For CS141L / CS141SC
✔ Converts only UPS data
✔ Connection via COM2 via Mini-DIN8
✔ [RJ45 cable not included]

2. Product number: PROF_MR

✔ Like SNMP_PROF, but for CS141 MINI and R2 (slot devices)
✔ Converts only UPS data
✔ Includes additional adapter cable type 135 for RJ12 port

3. Product number: BACS_PROF

✔ For all BACS WEBMANAGER
✔ Firmware also recognizes BACS measured values
✔ Converts UPS & battery data
✔ Otherwise like SNMP_PROF, identical in structure, but with extended logic

✔ Including power supply (230V to 12V 1A)
✔ PROFINET via 100 Mbit RJ45 (full duplex)

Documentation & Commissioning
A comprehensive user manual in German and English is included – setup is carried out in the same way as with the well-known PROFIBUS adapters.
