The new SMARTLOGGER READER makes battery reading easier and faster – and is finally available for APPLE iPhones. Instead of laboriously searching for the NFC contact point with your smartphone, the READER scans via Bluetooth and emits an audible signal upon success – directly connected to the app.

Background:
Until now, Android phones with an integrated NFC chip could use the existing app directly – without any additional device. The NFC chip built into the phone could be used directly by the SMARTBATTER app. While this is now also possible with APPLE iPhones, it is very cumbersome: Each battery query via the internal NFC chip had to be manually confirmed, and the reading process is frequently interrupted by iOS security prompts.

These APPLE restrictions couldn't be circumvented, so the entire iOS concept was redesigned, and a separate tool was introduced. With the new SMARTLOGGER READER, the app is finally usable for iPhones.

With Android, both options remain possible: native reading via the integrated NFC chip and alternatively using the new reader via Bluetooth – e.g., for devices without NFC or in very tight installations:
