A classic has said goodbye: The CS141 HW141 has retired

The first generation of our successful CS141 network cards for UPS and battery management systems – the hardware variant “HW141” – is being discontinued.

Production of the CS141 HW141 ran from 2013 to 2022, and, since then, the model has only received security updates. No new features will be developed from now on, and the end of life (EOL) is officially set for 2027.

A brief review – four generations of network cards over the last 22 years:

✔ CS121 HW121 (2002):
the first GENEREX in-house production of a network card for UPS systems
✔ CS121 HW131 (2006) –
the standard in the UPS industry for over 10 years
✔ CS141 HW141 (2013–2022) –
basis of the current generation HW 161
✔ CS141 HW161 (since 2022) –
the market leader in network cards for UPS systems

What is the advantage of the CS141 HW161 compared with former models?

The latest generation has been fundamentally redesigned and features numerous improvements:

✔ Gigabit network
fast & future-proof
✔ Increased storage
larger, more resilient, lossless
✔ Increased computing power
more efficient for complex applications
✔ USB WLAN adapter
enables parallel operation in two networks
✔ AUTOSTORE function
