Event
Depending on the system configuration and installed devices of the CS121, different events will be available. The other columns represent different actions that can be taken by the CS121 in response to the registered events. The execution time and/or repetitions of the actions can be then configured by the user.
Log
This action will cause the adapter to record the event described by a user defined text into the alarms log file with the date and time of the event with the function - write to log file. Note that system events are also written into the data log using a default text with the inclusion of system values.
An email will be sent to a designated email address containing either the event name or user defined text as subject.
RCCMDShutdown
Generally for all of the columns with RCCMD: these are special commands that will be sent to designated RCCMD clients. General prerequisites for this function is that the correct IP and port are known about the RCCMD clients and that the clients are configured to accept RCCMD messages from the IP of the RCCMD sender or RCCMD relayer respectively. For any RCCMD command, note that whole network segments can be addressed by entering 255 into the last octet of any IP receiver segment. This enacts a so called broadcast that will send the signal to multiple RCCMD clients simultaneously.
RCCMD Shutdown will send the shutdown signal for a single network shutdown or multiple network shutdowns of RCCMD client machines in a network.
RCCMDMessage
RCCMD Message will send a user defined text as pop-up message box to the specified RCCMD client/s.
RCCMDExecute
RCCMD Execute will cause the RCCMD client/s to execute programs and predefined scripts.
UPSShutdown
This will shutdown or restore the UPS device to which the CS121 is connected if this function is supporteed by the UPS device.
AUX
AUX will switch one of the 4 AUX ports to either high or low.
RCCMDTrap
RCCMD Trap is like RCCMD message, but also includes the values contained in the system variables like capacity, rest time, and the likes pertaining to the specified event.
Send WOL
This will send a network wake on LAN data package to a designated machine using the MAC address of the targeted device. Some systems require a password for the execution of this function. Other operating system and hardware restrictions may also apply to the application of this job.
