Timeserver
In this area three alternative time server can be configured for synchonizing the clock of the CS121. For CS121 equipped with PPP functionality other time synchronization options are available. Most importantly, a working time server configuration is required for enabling the correct functioning of the GChart graphical controller.
Timerserver addresses 1-3
this is a list of servers that the CS121 uses for setting its clock. Starting with the first entry the CS121 will stop working through the list when a connection has been successfully established and next in importance to reaching the designated IP addresses, there must be a time server services running on the designated time server.
Timeserver Difference
This is the number of hours used in compensating for differences in time zones.
Connection Retries
This is the number of tries the CS121 will make before terminating an unsuccessful connection attempt and/or moving to the next timeserver listing.
Synchronize Time on PPP client connect
When this box is activated (checked), this is a special type of event configuration which makes the CS121 update its time with the listed timeserver once the CS121 has dialed out.
Synchronize Time on PPP server connect
When this box is activated (checked), this is a special type of event configuration which makes the CS121 update its time with the listed timeserver once the CS121 has been called. Both of these two PPP connect events can be activated.
Buttons
all of the buttons have the effect of applying all of the entries into the configuration of the CS121. So any entries that should be reversed must be actively applied before leaving the configuration mode and resetting a timerserver listing back to no time server must be done by explicitly entering 0.0.0.0 into the listing and applying the settings.
