Help on 'AUX Port'



Port: This defines the Port number, Port 1 is Pin 2 on the RJ 11 socket. Port 2 is Pin 3 on RJ 11, etc. For layout of AUX port see CS121 user manual.

Type: Defines that this Port direction of the AUX alarms. If it is set as INPUT, than this port will convert any High/Low into an alarms transmitted as SNMP Trap, Email etc. through the CS121. If it is set as OUTPUT, than the CS121 will react with a High/Low on this Port in case of any Alarm coming from the Device at COM1.

State: This shows the current status of the Port, high or low.

Input: This defines that this port is used as INPUT. CS 121 will send a network alarm in case that the status changes. You can use Input and Output simoultanously at the CS121.

Output: This defines that this port is used as OUTPUT. CS 121 will set the status to High/Low in case that there is an alarm at the UPS or other device on COM1.
